Wonderful all around. Been away from good Indian restaurants for years so this was my first meal after arriving Symi. Huge plus for me they are located by a beautiful and safe playground. My kiddo played while I enjoyed well seasoned raita, cheese naan, creamy and tender butter chicken white rice and Taj Mahal cocktail. All was very tasty. Portions are generous if I wasn’t famished from traveling that meal would have been enough for two. Really attentive service and nice owners. I recommend highly! I’m adding photos of their current menu.

We’re from Singapore, it’s not easy to find variety of cuisines here and we found this gem! We had Tandoori fish, lamb vindaloo, vegetable biryani and naan, and poppadom with mango chutney of course, all excellent!

Newly opened Indian restaurant with delicious food! The menu has plenty of vegetarian options and the owners are very friendly!! It’s very close to the port. Highly recommend, sooo tasty!!!

Best food I’ve had during my time in Greece. I didn’t expect to find an Indian restaurant when I arrived on Symi, but it ended up being amazing. Nice service, great portions. Definitely recommend!

Had a great experience at the Taj Mahal Indian restaurant last night. The owner and his wife were very welcoming and the food was fantastic. We had a mixed grill sharing platter for a starter. Everything was cooked to perfection and spiced well. This consisted of chicken tikka, chicken tandoori samosa and various other delights all served on a hot skillet. (See photo) We had a little rest and ordered our main meals. My wife had chicken tikka karahi, I had lamb vindaloo. We shared a rice. Both dishes were delicious. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Came here based on the good reviews and because we fancied a change from Greek food after 5 nights. Lived up to the great reviews! Super friendly staff, felt very welcomed and looked after. Excellent food, hot fresh and delicious. Very reasonable prices and quick service. The only one very small negative I can think of is the pickle tray. Would usually expect around 4/5 small trays of sauces/pickles to go with poppadoms but only came with mango chutney and lime pickle. Would highly recommend if you fancy a change to Greek!

We have been in Greece for 8 weeks and we love the greek food, but we also like a nice curry so we just had to try this relatively new restaurant. It was lovely, all cooked from fresh , on the mild side so we could appreciate all of the different flavours involved, we wouldn't worry about ordering 'hot' here as I'm pretty sure it would still be beautifully flavoured. This restaurant deserves more customers, as a change to greek food it is recommended. We will come again.
